Reunited North High School sweethearts, John and Bette Schultz are the owners of Lizabel's Treasures.John, a former tennis pro, hotel owner, and sports rehab therapist, and Bette who retired after 25 years from teaching high school for Scottsdale schools have joined strengths to create a relaxing atmosphere in which to browse. John and Bette became reacquainted in an antique store and worked at 3 different ones together.After shopping in this location for about 20 years, Bette began working here, and eventually was able to achieve the longtime dream of ownership of Lizabel's Treasures.Our careers and lives have changed just as the store evolves differently each week. The site has been a successful retail location since it was built in 1935.Homes in the charming adjacent historical neighborhoods began cropping up in the early 20’s with craftsman, Tudor, bungalow and adobe styles.So our location is a perfect spot to sell antiques and other things (not yet quite 100 years old) which have stood the test of time. We love the variety that our shop carries and the one-of-a-kind treasures that make it unique.Our dealers help make the shop successful because of their hard work at seeking out, restoring, repurposing, and displaying their special items.Lizabel’s has an amazing selection ofwonderful things at prices low enough that everyone can afford to shop here.
